Chery Tiggo 8 is the first batch of car owners in China to deliver cars, with the target of selling over 10,000 vehicles per month.
Beijing News (Reporter Zhang Jie) Today (June 9), the delivery ceremony of the first batch of owners of Tiggo 8 in China was held simultaneously in Hefei, Beijing, Guangzhou and Chengdu. According to Qi Subin, deputy general manager of Chery Automobile Marketing Company, Tiggo 8 has received more than 10,000 orders since its listing at the Beijing Auto Show. Qi Subin said that Chery’s target expectation for the Tiggo 8 is to sell more than 10,000 vehicles a month.
The Tiggo 8, which was launched on April 25th, is a 7-seat SUV with a "5+2" seat layout. It is also equipped with the "Lion Zhiyun System" jointly developed by Chery Automobile and Baidu, which can recognize 32 dialects and can also pass the fingerprint/face unlocking authentication of the mobile APP.
According to Qi Subin, Tiggo 8, as the "leading product" of Chery’s Tiggo series, has high hopes from Chery, but it is currently trapped in production capacity. "In May, the production capacity of Tiggo 8 was about 2,000 units, and in June, the production capacity will be increased to about 5,000 units, but there is still a certain gap with the order." Qi Subin said that with the gradual improvement of production capacity, the sales target of Tiggo 8 is to sell more than 10,000 vehicles a month when the peak season comes.
It is understood that Chery will launch three new cars, including the new car product Arrizo GX, which will be launched in September this year.
