(Sports International Football) FIFA: Saudi Arabia is the only bidder for the 2034 Football World Cup.

Xinhua News Agency, Geneva, October 31 (Reporter Shan Lei) On October 31, FIFA announced that Saudi Arabian Football Association was the only football association to submit an application for hosting the 2034 Football World Cup before the deadline.

FIFA confirmed that it has received an application from Saudi Arabia to host the 2034 World Cup, and Saudi Arabia is the only country that has expressed its interest in hosting the 2034 World Cup.

Previously, FIFA had announced that the only application for hosting the 2030 World Cup was jointly submitted by the Football Associations of Morocco, Portugal and Spain. At present, these three countries have confirmed their willingness to bid. As the centenary celebration of the World Cup will be held in 2030, FIFA plans to hold a World Cup in Uruguay, Argentina and Paraguay, and these three countries have also confirmed their willingness to host the World Cup.

Like Morocco, Portugal and Spain, Saudi Arabia still needs to pass the FIFA audit. If these bidding countries can meet the requirements of FIFA and go through the whole bidding process, then FIFA will determine its right to host at the FIFA General Assembly at the end of 2024. (End)

Besides Dong Yuhui, what are more English teachers doing now?

In the face of major adjustments in the industry, everyone has made new choices, some related to work, and some boldly transformed.

"I vaguely felt the decline of English before, and I also felt that the country attached importance to Chinese, so I took a Chinese teaching certificate." Xiao Xuan, a teacher with five years’ experience in English teaching and training, told us. In 2021, her teaching and training institution closed down. Today, one year later, she has joined an international school and turned to be a Chinese teacher.

People engaged in English education are no strangers to the change of wind direction in recent years. According to the report of iResearch in 2017, the participation rate of English in the off-campus teaching and training market reached 81.4%, while that of mathematics and Chinese was 46.9% and 22%. In recent two years, the discussion about reducing the proportion of English teaching is on the rise. In July 2021, after the introduction of the "double reduction" policy, a large number of English teaching and training teachers flowed into the labor market, facing a new career choice.

We interviewed several former English teachers who left the profession either actively or passively when the "double reduction" came.

A year later, some of them joined the army of "examination and compilation" and faced competition from hundreds of people for a position; Some people go to private schools or quality education institutions to continue teaching English, and their income is not as high as before, but their life has become leisurely; Some people run away from the identity of "English teaching practitioners" and change careers completely.

  Enter school as a teacher.

Many interviewed English teachers told us that after a year of "double reduction", most of them and their former colleagues are still English teachers: either sharpen their heads and squeeze into public or private schools; Either transfer to non-disciplinary training institutions such as quality education and vocational education; Either become an "underground worker" and teach privately as an independent teacher.

The reason why the road of "teaching English" is still a "broad road" is that, on the one hand, although the off-campus training of disciplines is prohibited, in fact, the demand for learning English has not disappeared from young children, college students to professionals at all stages; On the other hand, many teachers who come out of teaching and training institutions think that they can only teach and have no ability and courage to change careers.

After experiencing the turmoil in the teaching and training industry, many teaching and training teachers regard entering the school as the ideal destination.

Yue Xiaoyue worked as an IELTS teacher in New Oriental in Xi ‘an for two years. Although the IELTS and GRE courses she taught were adult training, they were not within the scope of prohibited subject training. However, due to the frustration of the overall business of New Oriental, Yue Xiaoyue’s class pay and welfare were reduced. In addition, she believes that teaching and training work is too exhausting and not suitable for long-term development. Under the influence of multiple factors, Yue Xiaoyue gave birth to her intention.

Yue Xiaoyue’s re-employment direction is very clear, and all of them are school teachers. She finally successfully applied for an English teacher in a private university. On the day of the interview in colleges and universities, she found that there were three former colleagues of New Oriental on the interview list.

Liu Li worked in the English education industry for nine years, and worked as an English teacher in international schools and overseas institutions. In the first half of 2021, she joined Guagualong Education under ByteDance, only to be laid off less than half a year later. She can’t hide her yearning for the school teacher. "To be honest, I think the school teacher is very good, very relaxed, and has winter and summer vacations."

However, only a few teachers can enter public schools. The establishment of teachers is very popular, which is tantamount to crossing the wooden bridge with thousands of troops. Moreover, due to more applicants and less job demand, the competition of English teachers is more intense than that of Chinese and mathematics.

Xiao Xuan, who is in Guangzhou, has been paying close attention to the recruitment information of local English teachers for a long time, and found that compared with Chinese and mathematics, the recruitment ratio of English teachers is the highest, usually two or three hundred people compete for a position.

The demand for recruitment is also much less than that of Chinese and math teachers.

For example, when a district in Guangzhou recruited temporary teachers in the last semester of the 2021 school year, both Chinese teachers and math teachers recruited more than 25 teachers, but only four English teachers were recruited.

According to the statistics of a teacher examination and training institution, in 2021, Kaifu District, Changsha City recruited 5 primary school English teachers and registered 1,501 people, with an enrollment ratio of 300.2; There are 777 people competing for two middle school English teacher positions, and the enrollment ratio is as high as 388.5.

In addition to the difficulty of competition, many teaching and training teachers also believe that teachers with off-campus training experience will encounter discrimination when applying for public schools.

Yue Xiaoyue voted in some public high schools and junior high schools, but even her resume failed, and she thought her resume was brilliant enough. "Many teachers in ordinary high schools and junior high schools don’t like our teachers. They may think that the teachers trained by them pay too much attention to examination skills and are opportunistic. "

In this regard, a ninth-grade English teacher in a public school in Zhejiang told us that although he is not directly involved in the recruitment, he has never seen a teacher who can "hold the strength of the senior high school entrance examination and make him admire". However, he immediately added that perhaps the number of teachers he has seen is not enough, and his judgment is not enough to represent the overall level of teachers.

In Yue Xiaoyue’s view, the ability of teachers is not bad. Because I often participate in various competitions in New Oriental, I may be dragged to the stage to give a speech at any time. "When we go to an interview, it is obvious that the gas field is crushed."

During the period of New Oriental, she has accumulated rich experience in classroom design, classroom activities and class management. Moreover, the busy and high-pressure winter and summer vacations in the teaching and training industry have a huge test, and the teachers who can persist have good pressure resistance.

Teachers’ establishment can be met but not met. The guarantee scheme for more teachers is to apply for contract teachers in private schools or temporary teachers in public schools. But even for this kind of non-compiling teachers, the difficulty of competition is rising with the increase of job seekers.

Liu Li found that the recruitment requirements of private schools are much higher than in previous years. With nine years’ experience in English education, she recently ran into a wall when interviewing a teaching assistant in a small international school. The salary of this position in Beijing only reaches the average salary level, but it also requires a master’s degree.

Yue Xiaoyue said that the former colleagues of New Oriental are very envious of her being a teacher in a private university. However, she thought that she was quick to find a job soon after the "double reduction", so she was able to join the job smoothly. "I often think that if I leave two months late, I may not be able to be fished up."

Her other colleagues are not so lucky, because the action is late, and there are too many teachers in the market in the later period, which makes the competition more difficult. Yue Xiaoyue learned that many of his former colleagues have never found their favorite next home, including many teachers with master’s degrees and overseas teaching experience.

Being a teacher together Another kind of life

Also teaching English, Yue Xiaoyue’s life in private colleges and universities is much easier than that in teaching and training.

When Yue Xiaoyue was an IELTS teacher in New Oriental, the courses were often full and she had to travel between different campuses. When the amount of classes is small, you should also participate in teaching and research, competition and other activities.

After working in New Oriental for two years, Yue Xiaoyue is busy and growing rapidly. However, she clearly realized that being a teacher in New Oriental is "a bowl of youth rice". Many teachers will leave when they reach a certain age, because their bodies can’t bear it. In New Oriental, most teachers are young people aged 20 to 30, and there are very few teachers over 35.

When she arrived at colleges and universities, the average age of teachers reassured her. "There are many teachers in their fifties in our department, and you can often see white-haired teachers at school." For Yue Xiaoyue, this job "can always be retired".

The work intensity is greatly reduced. Yue Xiaoyue has 12 class hours a week this semester. Except for being relatively busy during the exam, he usually only needs three and a half days of classes, and the rest of the time can be arranged flexibly. "For example, I had a half-day class this morning. After lunch at noon, I can have a nice nap and arrange the course assignments in the afternoon. In fact, it’s nothing. Read books, read literature, or stroll around the campus and brush your mobile phone. It’s very free. "

There is almost no pressure for performance appraisal. "As long as you don’t make any big mistakes, you won’t be fired if you don’t take the initiative to resign."

In teaching and training institutions, winter and summer vacations are often the busiest working hours for teaching and training teachers, with a large amount of class hours and "piles of homework", so it is inevitable to stay up late and work overtime. Sometimes after a whole day’s class, Yue Xiaoyue, 30, feels "short of breath".

In colleges and universities, paid winter and summer vacations have become enviable benefits. Time is at your own disposal, you can go sightseeing if you want to relax, and you can engage in sideline business if you want to make money. In the past summer vacation, Yue Xiaoyue worked part-time as an IELTS teacher, earning more than 10,000 yuan a month.

Liu Li entered an English children’s drama club in Beijing, and her work and life began to have a clear boundary.

Previously, when she was a tutor in Guagualong, Liu Li took her mobile phone home every day and sent a long message. "I didn’t rest for a day in the first three months of joining, and I turned around." In addition to answering questions, daily work also bears the performance pressure of sales courses.

Now, Liu Li is mainly responsible for taking children to do vocal exercises and rehearse English short plays, and there is no pressure on performance. Although you need to attend classes for eight to ten hours on weekends, you can take two days off after that. Liu Li has her own time.

English children’s drama club belongs to the category of quality education, and pays more attention to entertaining, which is not within the scope of policy restrictions. Liu Li said that in fact, many parents still come with the purpose of letting their children learn English.

This kind of quality education institution is a new place for many English teachers.Wang Xuanxuan, who is 24 years old in Chengdu, left the English teaching and training industry in 2021 and switched to a nine-to-five telephone sales job, but he was very disgusted with the work content. "Every day is on pins and needles." In 2022, after "naked examination" of teachers without hope, Wang Xuanxuan decided to give up the "volume" on the road of examination and compilation and return to the teaching and training industry.

Now she has joined a children’s English organization. There are desks, chairs and self-developed teaching materials in the classroom, but it belongs to quality education. She learned that many local English training institutions have basically transformed into quality-oriented education.

Of course, after the work has become stable and leisure, the income has also shrunk dramatically. Yue Xiaoyue can get an annual salary of 200,000 yuan at most in New Oriental, and a senior colleague can get 300,000 yuan, which is the top salary level in Xi ‘an. Now in college, her salary has dropped to five or six thousand yuan a month. Liu Li’s salary in the drama club was also cut by half compared with that in the byte period.

However, they are all satisfied with the status quo. Yue Xiaoyue said, "Compared with the hard work of teaching and training teachers, the hourly salary of college teachers with winter and summer vacations is actually very high." More importantly, this job can bring a balance between life and work. Every time she walks in the campus surrounded by green trees and hears the chirping of birds, she will be so happy that she can’t help humming along.

Originally, Liu Li only wanted to play the drama club as a temporary job during the transition period, but after a few months of employment, it seems that this job is one of the few good choices.

Sometimes, the timing of choice is more important than the choice itself.Yue Xiaoyue believes that if he enters the school as a teacher right after graduation, he will be "poor" and may not know enough. It is precisely because I went to a teaching and training institution just after graduation that I earned enough money to fill the down payment on my house. Now I need space and time, and then I transfer to colleges and universities, and the time for conversion is just right.

There are still some people who have transformed into live-in private teachers, and Kaka of Foshan is one of them. The salary of this job is considerable, and Kaka also has the experience of teaching and training children and has confidence in dealing with children. So she took the job without hesitation.

Although the live-in teacher has the name of the teacher, it actually belongs to the high-end housekeeping industry.Kaka needs to live in his employer’s home. Besides communicating with his children in English, he also needs to take care of their daily life. "Frankly speaking, it is similar to a child’s housekeeper," Kaka said.

Wake up the children at 7 o’clock in the morning, wash and eat breakfast with them. After sending the children to kindergarten at 8 o’clock, Kaka can spend his time flexibly, studying, reading and going out for parties. After the children leave school at 4 o’clock, Kaka is busy. He has to accompany his children to swimming classes, equestrian classes and other interest classes, and sometimes he has to pick them up and go to class reunion. When you get home, it’s time to urge your child to take a bath and sleep, and tell a picture book story before going to bed. Kaka’s day’s work is over when the children go to sleep.

Kaka said that although more and more families need live-in teachers, many teachers may not be able to accept such a working environment. Kaka once introduced some friends around him to enter this industry, but they gave the same answer and felt that they lacked freedom. It is also difficult to match the needs between teachers and families, especially the requirements of some families are strange. "Some families can read divination, depending on the teacher’s birthdates, and some families will also look at the teacher’s eyes, which are very subjective. Angle."

  Bold transformation

There are a few teachers and trainers who can find satisfactory jobs like Yue Xiaoyue. On the social platform, most of the self-reports of teachers and trainers are full of fatigue in the teaching and training industry and confusion and anxiety about the future.

An English teacher in a third-tier city is still confused. "After years of teaching and training, the whole person is depressed." In his view, he is a pure language major and lacks other skills. Moreover, in third-tier cities, except for teaching and training, the salaries of other industries are relatively considerable, so he has no choice.

Being an English major should not be a restriction, but a blessing.. Bold transformation may lead to a bright future.Liu Li also looks forward to becoming an English compound talent. "I may learn some extra skills, such as new media,Do video, and continue to do education-related work in combination with English advantages in the future.

After working as a live-in teacher for several months, Kaka chose to change careers for long-term development. "When you have children in the future, you can’t stay in other people’s homes all the time." At the same time, although a live-in teacher can get a monthly salary of up to 50,000 yuan, Kaka has higher expectations for his future income.

Because he is optimistic about the prospect of cross-border e-commerce, Kaka went to Guangzhou from Foshan and started a cross-border cargo anchor. Although the anchor with goods and the teacher with training are two very different occupations, Kaka did not feel "acclimatized". On the contrary, the advantages of English and the language expression ability trained in teaching and training have made Kaka comfortable in the transition.

Kaka is now broadcast live to the audience in the UK, selling mainly women’s track products such as cosmetics and yoga clothes. During the live broadcast, the audience reached more than 600 people at most, which is already a very good result. Kaka’s salary has also doubled compared with the previous teaching and training position.

Shen Yueyue, who has been a "one-on-one" English teacher in Northeast China for three years, has never been able to find a job that can teach after double reduction. Unable to transfer her original work ability, she decided to let go of herself and no longer consider the continuation of her original work experience. "Do whatever you like."

By chance, she came into contact with a talk show brand that was purely underground. When sitting in the audience listening to jokes, she misses the feeling of standing on the stage. Since then, she has been writing jokes, attending reading sessions and polishing her language skills.

On the first night on the stage of opening wheat, she talked about the situation that former colleagues were looking for jobs everywhere and their income was also facing a sharp drop after the double reduction. There are not many people laughing in the audience, but more people are listening to Shen Yueyue’s speech. After leaving the podium, she once again felt that her expression resonated. At that moment, she seemed to find her original heart as an English teacher: expressing herself and inspiring others.

By Shen Yueyue’s side, many friends have caught up with the opportunity when English training was hot: joining a head education and training factory with the title of 985, you can get a salary of 200,000 to 300,000 once you graduate, and it is not uncommon for more than 400,000 graduates in Qingbei. It was a rapidly rising elevator. Although the people who poured in were hard, they all rose with the elevator, and the figure of their peers was gradually left behind. However, after the double reduction, the elevator was cut off in the middle, and my friends lost weight. Many friends, like her, no longer aspire to the right track.

Shen Yueyue’s former colleague moved to Changsha to start a new life after leaving an education factory. Instead of going to work, she opened a clothing store. Her English ability is of little use, but her life can be self-financing and she no longer depends on a huge company machine.

There are also former colleagues who choose to study abroad. After seeing the disillusionment, colleagues no longer blindly pursue high-paying majors, but read arts at will. There are still friends who can’t find a satisfactory job and let themselves lie at home.

In addition to talking about talk shows, Shen Yueyue also helped the brand to manage platforms such as WeChat official account, Xiaohongshu and Weibo, and also undertook some tasks of attracting new products and selling tickets. She was surprised to find that this career transformation after releasing herself did not completely abandon her skills as an English teacher-it was also a necessary skill at that time to attract students to buy renewal fees.

Looking back more than a year later, Shen Yueyue is no longer the feeling of falling from the rapidly rising elevator. She gradually saw more crises in the original vain bubble, and deviating from the essence of education made her particularly uncomfortable. Her previous work status became distorted in her memory. Actively or passively, she accepted the fact that she was blown to the talk show stage by the wind and accepted herself now.

What symptoms should be suspected of heart disease? 14 kinds of fruits protect the heart

Editor’s note:The harm of heart disease has long been known to people, but many people don’t understand its symptoms. In this issue, Xiao Bian talks with you about what symptoms are heart disease and how to correctly judge them. What fruits do you often eat to promote heart health?

What symptom shows that the heart is not good?

Have the symptoms of chest tightness, palpitation and chest pain, is it a heart disease?

Not necessarily. The common symptoms of heart disease include chest tightness, palpitation and chest pain, but the appearance of these symptoms does not mean that it is a heart disease, but it may also be caused by the imbalance of nerve function regulation. In addition, chest tightness and palpitation can also occur during strenuous exercise and overwork, but what needs to be distinguished is that chest tightness and palpitation caused by non-cardiac organic lesions will not last long, and may improve after rest, while heart patients will aggravate discomfort when they have a large amount of activity. Therefore, it is suggested that, to be on the safe side, people with this symptom should go to the hospital for further diagnosis to determine whether there is heart disease.

Clinically, we often see the symptoms of heart disease caused by neurosis, that is to say, after examination, patients have no organic lesions in their hearts, but they always feel very flustered, or their chest is stuffy, uncomfortable and difficult to breathe, which is more common in women. This is due to the influence of anxiety, tension, emotional excitement, mental trauma and other factors, the process of excitation and inhibition of the central nervous system of the human body is hindered, and the cardiovascular system regulated by autonomic nerves is also disordered, causing a series of symptoms of excessive sympathetic nerve tension. Such people should learn to decompress, relax and exercise moderately, and should be treated with psychotherapy when necessary.

Some young people often have a rapid heartbeat. Is this a sign of heart disease?

Most young people who have this situation may not have heart disease, especially young women. In addition, people without basic diseases may have an accelerated heartbeat after mood swings, nervousness, fright, exercise, excessive smoking and drinking. If these symptoms appear under the above conditions, don’t worry too much. However, if the heart rate is too fast, it is definitely not good. If the adult’s heart rate exceeds 100 beats per minute, even if it is tachycardia, it will easily increase the risk of cardiovascular disease. Therefore, we should learn to control our emotions, exercise moderately, quit smoking and limit alcohol.

My heart often thumps, and I feel like I have stopped jumping. Is this a heart attack?

This problem should be paid attention to, and it may be premature beats. The incidence of premature beats is very high, which can occur in healthy people and people with heart diseases. The factors such as mental stress, drinking, drinking coffee and poor sleep are the inducement. Premature beats can be divided into benign and malignant. Premature beats without heart disease are benign. If the symptoms are not obvious and have no impact on life, there is no need to treat them. However, if it is premature beats caused by coronary heart disease and hypertension, we should pay enough attention to it. Therefore, if you find premature beats, you should go to the hospital and let the doctor check whether there is a basic heart disease.

What symptoms should be suspected of heart disease?

There are many manifestations of heart disease. For example, patients with coronary heart disease and angina pectoris may have atypical angina pectoris such as stomachache, abdominal pain, dizziness and abdominal distension, in addition to chest tightness, heartache, palpitation, shortness of breath and tightness of throat. Pain, edema, etc. in both lower limbs may also be manifestations of heart failure. It is best to go to the hospital immediately in order to find the condition in time.

14 kinds of fruits are the most heart-protecting.

The website "US News and World Report" summarizes 14 kinds of fruits that can promote heart health.

  1. pears. A medium-sized pear can provide 30% more soluble dietary fiber than an apple of the same size, which helps to reduce the cholesterol content in the body. It is recommended to eat the peel together after washing, and peeling will lose half of the dietary fiber.

  2. Apricot. Apricot is rich in antioxidant vitamin C, which helps to prevent chronic diseases, such as cancer and heart disease. Moreover, apricot is bright orange yellow because it contains β Carotene, which can be converted into vitamin A in human body, plays an important role in protecting eyesight, maintaining skin integrity, resisting infection, enhancing immunity and nerve development.

  3. bananas. The dietary fiber, potassium, vitamin C and vitamin B6 contained in bananas work together to ensure that the heart is in the best working condition.

  4. Lemon. Lemon is rich in vitamin C, which is good for immune system, intestine and heart health. The pectin it contains can not only prolong satiety, but also reduce cholesterol in the body.

  5. peaches. Peach contains a lot of vitamin C, which helps to eliminate free radicals and promote the normal work of the body’s defense system. It contains phenolic compounds with biological activity and can promote the body to fight inflammation. The high dietary fiber content in peaches helps to reduce the content of low-density lipoprotein cholesterol, thus playing a role in preventing cardiovascular diseases.

  6. citrus. Citrus is the source of high-quality vitamin C. The calorie of a citrus is only 35 kilocalories, but it can meet 40% of the daily demand for vitamin C..

  7. avocado. Avocado is rich in potassium, which can help the heart beat normally, regulate blood pressure and promote muscle contraction. This nutrient can also maintain the normal functioning of body cells and reduce the risk of heart disease, stroke and renal failure.

  8. plums. This purple-skinned fruit has a high content of polyphenols, which is an anti-inflammatory antioxidant. The dietary fiber content of plums is also high. Proper consumption can help reduce the cholesterol content in the body, regulate the intestinal function and lose weight.

  9. Nectarine. Nectarine is rich in vitamin C and vitamin E, which can be used as antioxidants to fight free radicals and avoid cell damage. Nectarine also contains copper and potassium, which has a good effect on keeping blood pressure stable and maintaining mineral balance in the body.

  10. Persimmons. Persimmon is rich in vitamin A and dietary fiber, which is good for heart health.

  11. Watermelon. A study by Florida State University found that eating watermelon for overweight people can lower blood pressure, thus reducing the risk of heart attack. In addition, a Spanish study found that drinking watermelon juice before exercise can quickly eliminate lactic acid and relieve muscle soreness after exercise.

  12. Blueberries. Eating blueberries has been proved to prevent the formation of inflammatory molecules in the body. It contains anthocyanins, which can reduce oxidative stress and help protect DNA from the growth of malignant cells.

  13. cherries. Cherry is relatively low in calories and contains a lot of nutrients, such as dietary fiber, vitamin C, carotenoids and potassium. Studies have shown that eating cherries can reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease and cancer.

  14. apples. Cornell University research found that eating apples can reduce the risk of thrombosis and stroke. In order to obtain the maximum health effect, it is best to eat apples with skin after washing.

Ten habits make the heart healthier.

Improving diet and strengthening exercise are recognized as effective ways to protect the heart. But more and more research shows that there are many small ways to protect heart health besides eating and moving.

  1. hug. Studies have shown that snuggling with your lover can release oxytocin, a hormone that helps lower blood pressure and release stress.

  2. laugh. Laughter can stimulate blood vessels to dilate, up to 22%, thus enhancing blood flow and lowering blood pressure.

  3. Eat chocolate. Cocoa beans are rich in antioxidants, which can enhance the immune system function and help the body resist external harm.

  4. keep a pet. The data shows that people who keep pets have relatively low blood pressure and lower risk of heart disease than those who don’t keep pets. This may be because people who have pets exercise more than people who don’t have pets.

  5. Eat vegetarian food once a week. Eating less meat is one of the important measures to protect the heart. Studies show that a proper vegetarian diet can reduce the risk of heart disease by 32%. It is recommended to be vegetarian at least once a week.

Step 6 stand. Whether at work or at rest, we sit most of the day, which will increase the risk of heart disease to some extent. Standing up, taking a walk in the office, chatting with colleagues, or walking around every few hours can all improve heart health.

  7. Maintain moderate sleep time. You need to get 7-8 hours of sleep every night. Studies have shown that sleeping too little will increase the risk of heart disease by 48%, while sleeping too much will increase the risk of heart disease by 38%.

8.caffeine. Drinking 1~3 cups of black coffee every day helps to stabilize the heart rate.

  9. Stay away from noisy roads. Research shows that the risk of heart disease will increase by 12% for every 10 decibels of noise you are exposed to on the highway.

  10. get married. The survey found that the hearts of married people are healthier than those of single people. For women, a stable marriage lasting for 10 years can reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease by 13%.

Go to the heart clinic with ten questions

What are the symptoms of heart disease? Most people know that chest pain and oppression are typical symptoms of heart disease, but there are also many atypical symptoms of the disease, such as shortness of breath, fatigue, dizziness and leg swelling. Moreover, there are differences in symptoms between male and female patients.

What tests should I do? Exercise test, imaging examination or other invasive examination are all helpful for doctors to know the condition in detail and make a definite diagnosis.

What is the ideal blood pressure? Hypertension can lead to heart attacks and other serious health problems, such as aneurysms, strokes and cognitive decline. For most adults, the optimal control range of blood pressure is below 120/80 mm Hg.

How much "bad" cholesterol should be controlled? Excess "bad" cholesterol will be deposited in blood vessels, which will increase the risk of heart disease, so it must be strictly controlled. Healthy adults should be below 3.4 mmol/L, and people with cardiovascular diseases should be controlled below 1.8~2.6 mmol/L.

Do I need to take aspirin every day? Medical experts at the Mayo Clinic said that taking low-dose aspirin every day under the guidance of a doctor can prevent platelets from sticking together to form clots and help prevent heart attacks. However, this treatment scheme is not suitable for everyone, which may increase the risk of bleeding for some people, and it can not prevent the healthy people.

What activities should I avoid doing? For people with healthy hearts, most exercise is harmless. However, if you have potentially serious diseases, such as cancer and arterial obstruction, it is recommended not to do aerobic exercise and strength training.

Will my family history affect my diagnosis? The risk factors and incidence probability of heart disease are closely related to family history and heredity. Therefore, patients should take the initiative to inform the doctor, which is helpful to accurately evaluate the disease.

Does personal medical history affect diagnosis? For cardiologists, it is important to know whether you have suspected symptoms of heart disease, such as fatigue, difficulty breathing when lying down, and rapid and irregular heartbeat. What are the advantages and disadvantages of skipping rope VS running? Which sport do you choose?

Skipping rope VS running, what are their advantages and disadvantages? Which sport should you choose to lose weight?

Skipping rope and running are very common aerobic exercises, which can help us lose weight, improve cardiopulmonary function and enhance physical fitness.

However, they are also different in many ways.Next, let’s discuss the advantages and disadvantages of skipping rope and running, and how to make a decision when choosing a weight loss exercise.

First, let’s look at the advantages of skipping rope:

1. Skipping rope is a very convenient and flexible sport. You don’t need too much space. You only need a rope to start exercising anytime and anywhere.

2, skipping rope can exercise the whole body muscle groups, including arms, abdomen, legs and other parts, which helps to improve the coordination and sensitivity of the body.

3. Sticking to skipping rope can also promote blood circulation, improve the body’s oxygen intake, effectively improve cardiopulmonary function and enhance the ability of the heart and lungs.

4, skipping exercise is more flexible, there are a variety of ways to play, which is more interesting, and can also help you lose weight and help you burn calories quickly.

However, skipping rope also has its disadvantages:

1. It may be difficult for some people, because it requires certain skills and balance.

2. Jumping rope requires higher vital capacity, and many novices can’t hold on for 2 minutes without panting.

3. When skipping rope, the knee needs to bear the pressure value of twice its own weight.

Next, let’s take a look at the advantages of running:

1. Running is a very low threshold aerobic exercise suitable for men, women and children. It can effectively improve the cardiopulmonary function, enhance physical fitness and lose weight.

2. Running can promote metabolism, accelerate fat burning and burn calories. Jogging for 1 hour every day can help you improve obesity.

3, running can also increase bone density, promote calcium coefficient, but also enhance the strength and endurance of leg muscles, so that your lower limbs are more flexible and powerful.

However, the disadvantages of running are also obvious:

1. Outdoor running is easily affected by the venue and weather. When the weather is too cold, the desire to run will decrease, and rainy days will also affect the enthusiasm of running.

2. Running has a great impact on joints, and the knee needs to bear 2.5-3.5 times the weight, so it may be uncomfortable for some people.

Should you choose skipping rope or running? We should make a decision according to our physical condition, interests and goals.

If you want to burn calories quickly and improve your body’s agility and coordination, skipping rope may be a better choice. If you have poor physical endurance, no sports experience and want to lose weight, then running may be more suitable for you.

No matter which sport you choose, you should pay attention to gradually increasing the intensity and time of exercise to avoid injury. At the same time, we should also pay attention to reasonable diet and rest to get the best exercise effect.

People who like perilla flavor can add perilla leaves when cooking.

Eat more "red food" to dispel cold and nourish blood.

There are two main types of so-called red food, one is meat food and meat products containing heme, such as beef and mutton; One is brightly colored vegetables and fruits, such as carrots, sweet potatoes, red dates, hawthorn and so on. In the bleak winter of everything, such food can first make people shine, bring pleasant visual stimulation, and make people’s appetite open and increase greatly.

Chinese medicine believes that red meat is warm but not dry, and has the effects of warming the middle warmer, dispelling cold, warming qi and blood, stimulating appetite and strengthening the spleen. Eating it in winter can not only resist cold, but also nourish the body. In addition, most of the red meat is rich in natural iron, which helps to nourish blood and enrich blood, making the blood full and rosy. It is a good way to nourish blood, kidney and beauty by decocting mutton with proper amount of angelica and ginger once or twice a week.

Red fruits and vegetables are also "health experts" because most of them are rich in natural pigments such as lycopene, polyphenol pigments and anthocyanins, which have antioxidant effects and are also rich in calcium and iron, which can protect cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases to some extent. In addition, carrots contain a lot of carotene, which can strengthen the spleen and promote digestion, nourish the liver and improve eyesight, reduce qi and relieve cough; Sweet potato enters the spleen and kidney meridians, which can "replenish the spleen and stomach", "benefit qi" and "resist cold", and is regarded as a "good medicine" by Chinese medicine. Pectin in oranges can help the body excrete waste, lipids and cholesterol as soon as possible, and reduce the absorption of exogenous cholesterol, while detoxification can also reduce blood lipids. Oranges are rich in vitamin C and vitamin P, which can increase the body’s resistance, increase the elasticity of capillaries and lower blood cholesterol. People with hyperlipidemia, hypertension and arteriosclerosis often eat oranges.

Lemon. Lemon is rich in vitamin C and vitamin P, which can enhance the elasticity and toughness of blood vessels and prevent and treat hypertension and myocardial infarction. In recent years, foreign studies have also found that green lemon contains an ingredient similar to insulin, which can reduce abnormal blood sugar levels.

Mustard: Mustard is rich in lutein and vitamin K, and also rich in vitamin A, vitamin B, vitamin C and vitamin D, carotene and dietary fiber.

Carrot: every 100g contains 1.35 ~ 17.25mg of carotene, and also contains vitamin B, vitamin C, fat and sugar, iron, pectin and inorganic salts.

These ways of eating make you warm and blessed.

  1. Simmer and absorb well. As the temperature drops, eating some slow-cooked dishes, such as stewed lotus root with ribs and stewed beef brisket with radish, can not only warm up the whole body, but also increase the absorption of plant nutrients by the human body.

  2. add beans to the rice to warm the whole body. Eating more beans has a certain warming effect. Because it is rich in minerals, antioxidants and other nutrients, it can enhance the body’s immunity and cold resistance. Might as well add red beans and mung beans when steaming rice and cooking porridge.

You might as well eat some root vegetables such as carrots, sweet potatoes and pumpkins, which are rich in β Carotene can be converted into vitamin A in human body, which can effectively improve skin quality, vision and immunity.

  4. Be in a good mood with high-quality fat. Olive oil, sesame oil and coconut oil are high-quality fats, which can not only make vitamins A, E and K in green leafy vegetables, sweet potatoes, pumpkins, cauliflower and cabbage more easily absorbed by the human body, but also contain tryptophan, which can help people prevent seasonal emotional disorders.

  5. Citrus fruits enhance immunity. Citrus fruits such as grapefruit, oranges and limes are rich in vitamin C, which is very helpful for enhancing immune system function. In addition, grapefruit is rich in lycopene, which helps to prevent cell damage.

Pumpkin, meat, cardamom and cinnamon have the best taste; Cumin can add fragrance to cauliflower and help burn fat; Brewing lemon and fresh ginger with hot water can promote blood circulation and enhance immunity.

Four readings in spring

Spring, spring, spring, spring rain, spring scenery, full of spring. There is a children’s song "spring, spring, where are you?" "Well sung: spring, spring, you are in the flowers’ smile; You are in the rain of spring rain; You are in the breeze; You are in children’s eyes. In spring, where are you? You’re in that life.

Although cold air will pour down from the north to the south from time to time in spring, there is even a "cold spring" weather, which makes people feel that winter seems to be still there. However, this can’t change the dynamic characteristics that spring can thaw the earth, revive everything and renew everything.

Therefore, in my opinion, in a year, spring is a thriving, full of vitality, the season that can best show vitality, and spring is a season that attracts people’s attention and is worth reading.

First Reading of Spring: Spring First

As we all know, people always start with "one"; Speaking of the four seasons, it always starts with "spring". It is common sense to sort spring, summer, autumn and winter in this way. We can also deeply understand the meaning of "headed by spring" in this way. Judging from the climate change of the four seasons, it begins with the warmth of spring, and only after experiencing the heat of summer does it transition to the coolness of autumn and the severe cold of winter. From the perspective of agricultural production, as the saying goes, spring crops in summer and autumn crops in winter. Without the seeds of spring, there would be no hoeing in summer, harvesting in autumn and hiding in winter!

However, we should note that, just as people move in a circle at equal distances, it is impossible to tell who is the leader and who is the tail of the team. The earth revolves around the sun all the time, and it is not so easy to distinguish which is the first and which is the tail. Mr. Mao Dun said in the article Winter: "When spring is coming, there must be winter first." Shelley, an English poet, has a similar poem in ode to the west wind, which has been widely quoted for many years: "If winter comes, can spring be far behind?" The famous sentences of two famous artists tell us the fact that winter comes first and spring comes to the world after winter.

Of course! All the year round, spring, summer, autumn and winter, has been used to it for many years, and the convention has become a custom. This is also similar to the "first frost" in the 24 solar terms. In fact, from a scientific point of view, the word "first frost" is incorrect, because frost does not fall from the sky. However, since ancient times, it has become a conventional term, so it has been used all the time.

Second Reading of Spring: Spring is stupid

Han Liu Xi’s Interpretation of the Name says: "Spring is stupid for words (chǔn), and things are stupid." "Stupid" means "spontaneous and dynamic" here. In spring, everything moves spontaneously and is born of movement, which is a natural instinct. In Oracle Bone Inscriptions, the ancestors used the image of the sun and grass to form the word "spring". Obviously, it can be said that spring is full of vitality and warmth; Spring is growth and lush vegetation. This shows that spring is a season in which everything germinates, and then flowers bloom and birds contend. The weather conditions of six solar terms in spring listed in Nong Sang Tong Ji are briefly summarized: beginning of spring: early weather, east wind thawing; Second, the sting insect begins to vibrate; Third, the fish is cold. The yang has moved, and the fish is getting upstream and close to the ice. Rain: at the beginning, the otter sacrifices the fish (at this time, the fish is fat, so the otter sacrifices first and then eats); Second, wait for Yanbei; Third, the vegetation is sprouting. Surprise: at the beginning, the peach begins to bloom; Second, Cang Geng Ming (Cang Geng, that is, Huang Li also); Third, the eagle turned into a dove. Vernal equinox: at the beginning, the mysterious birds arrive (that is, Yan lai also); Second, Lei Nai speaks; Third wait, start the electricity. Qingming: at the beginning, Tongshihua; Second, the vole turns into an owl (the owl sounds like quail). When the yang is strong, the rat turns into an owl, and when the yin is strong, the owl turns into a mouse. Wait three times, and the rainbow will see you. Grain Rain: At the beginning, Ping was born; Second, singing doves and feathers; Third, Dai Sheng descended on Sang (Dai Sheng, a bird). This indirectly and fully shows that Chinese ancestors have long realized that spring is a season that can show vitality most.

The third reading of spring: the steps of spring scenery have successively.

In order to interpret the footsteps of spring scenery, we must first explain the division methods of the four seasons, which are as follows.

One is the division of astronomical seasons. From the astronomical phenomenon, the seasonal change is the seasonal change of the length of day and night and the height of the sun. In a year, the season with the longest day and the highest sun height is summer, the season with the shortest day and the lowest sun height is winter, and the transitional season between winter and summer is spring and autumn. As far as the northern hemisphere is concerned, the spring equinox (around March 21st), summer solstice (around June 21st), autumn equinox (around September 21st) and winter solstice (around December 21st) are the four seasons. Namely: the spring equinox to the summer solstice is spring, the summer solstice to autumn is summer, the autumn equinox to the winter solstice is autumn, and the winter solstice to spring is winter. For the convenience of statistics, people usually take March-May as spring, June-August as summer, September-November as autumn, and December to February of the following year as winter. Climate statistics also follow this pattern, and January, April, July and October are often regarded as representative months of winter, spring, summer and autumn.

The second is the division of four seasons in ancient China. In our country, it is customary to divide the four seasons by lunar month. Spring is from January to March, summer is from April to June, autumn is from July to September, and winter is from October to December. The first day of the first month is the first day of the whole year and the first day of spring, so it is also called the Spring Festival. In addition, in ancient China, beginning of spring started as spring, long summer as summer, beginning of autumn as autumn and beginning of winter as winter.

Although the above method of dividing the four seasons is simple and convenient, it has a common shortcoming, that is, all parts of the country enter the same season on the same day, which is very different from the actual situation in various regions of China. As far as spring is concerned, according to the division of astronomical seasons, March is already spring. At this time, the area south of the Yangtze River is really pink and green, and the spring is strong; People in Hainan Island have spent the summer wearing light clothes; Heilongjiang, on the other hand, is still cold and windy, ice and snow, and there is no spring. Therefore, in order to make the division of four seasons consistent with the natural scenes in various places, in the 1930s, Mr. Zhang Baokun proposed to divide the four seasons with the average temperature of five days as an index, which is called the division of four seasons with waiting temperature. Summer begins when the average climate temperature is stable above 22℃, winter begins when the average climate temperature is stable below 10℃, and spring and autumn when the average climate temperature is between 10 ~ 22℃. From 10℃ to 22℃ is spring, and from 22℃ to 10℃ is autumn. Therefore, such four seasons are called temperature four seasons.

China has a vast territory, spanning more than 50 latitudes from north to south, and its geographical conditions are complex. Due to the differences in the north-south position and terrain, the specific date of spring arrival and the length of stay are different.

According to the division of four seasons, generally speaking, there is no winter in the south of Fuzhou-Liucheng line and no summer in the north of Harbin. That is to say, there is no winter in South China south of Nanling, and it can be considered as the beginning of spring in the middle and late January. It should be pointed out that there is no winter, spring and autumn in the South China Sea Islands, but summer in all seasons. Most of the Jiangnan areas north of Nanling, namely Zhejiang, Jiangxi and Hunan, entered the spring in early March; The North China Plain will be in early April. As for the northeast, it will be delayed for almost another month. In late May, spring will come to Heilongjiang Province, the northernmost part of China.

The specific time when spring comes has much to do with the terrain. For example, the Qinling Mountains, known as China’s climate demarcation line, has a great influence on this. Hanzhong, south of Qinling Mountains, has a bright spring in late March, but the horizontal distance from Hanzhong to Taibai Mountain is only over 100 kilometers, and Taibai and other places with an altitude of over 1,500 meters will be delayed for one month to feel the spring. For another example, due to the barrier of Tianshan Mountain, the Junggar Basin in northern Xinjiang only entered the spring in April, while the Tarim Basin in southern Xinjiang blew a spring breeze in March. As for the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, which is known as the "roof of the world", although most areas enter spring from April to May, it is one month later than that in Jiangnan, which is almost at the same latitude. As for the northern Tibet Plateau, even in the hottest month, it still cannot rise to the temperature in spring.

Fourth Reading of Spring: Cherish the beauty of spring.

Although the steps of spring scenery are successively, after spring arrival, spring scenery is everywhere. Turning to literary books and periodicals, there are not a few poems and prose works praising spring written by literati in past dynasties, which can be described as abundant spring poems. What I appreciate more is the comprehensive summary of the spring scenery in the world in the Jilin folk song "Song of Spring Day": "Spring water flows in the mountains in spring, and spring grass releases spring cattle in spring. Spring flowers bloom in the spring garden, and spring birds fall on the heads of spring trees. Spring students write spring characters, and the scenery in spring can really stay. " I think it should be added: "Spring shines in the world, and spring flowers bloom in my heart."

As mentioned above, spring is very beautiful, but the days of staying are limited. Although spring almost comes to the world on time every year, spring is really precious.

As we all know, "Chunhua Qiushi" is used to describe people’s literary talent and virtue, which means that they are knowledgeable and virtuous; It is also used to refer to the passage of time and the change of years. It is more used to describe the causal relationship of things. "Hua" is the same as "flower", which blooms in spring and bears fruit in autumn. It is extended to sweat and cultivate first, sow in time, and then have the joy of harvest. Others refer to "Chunhua" as youth and youth. It can be seen how beautiful and precious spring is!

There are even famous sayings that people often quote, "A year’s plan lies in spring" and "A moment in spring is worth a thousand dollars". In the Song of the Year in the Ming Dynasty, Tang Bohu pointed out that "spring night is worth a thousand dollars a minute", but said that "I can’t buy it back with a thousand dollars" and "advised people to travel by candlelight at night". The above-mentioned "things are born stupid", that is, "moving spontaneously", actually means that animals and plants are busy nervously: they will never live up to this beautiful spring. As the highest creature, it is even more important for us not to waste this beautiful spring scenery, not to "I awake light-hearted this morning of spring", but to take active actions to "spring" ourselves in this season of "all loves can’t be caged", so as to make ourselves an "almond" that "comes out of the wall". How much do you know about the origin and customs of Lantern Festival?

the Lantern Festival
Lantern Festival, also known as Shangyuan Festival, Xiaoyuanyian Festival, Yuanxi Festival or Lantern Festival, is the 15th day of the first lunar month every year, which is the last important festival in China Spring Festival. Lantern Festival is one of the traditional festivals in China, Chinese character cultural circle and overseas Chinese. The first month is the first month of the lunar calendar. The ancients called "night" "night", so the fifteenth day of the first full moon in a year is called the Lantern Festival.
In the ancient customs of China, Shangyuan Festival (Tianguan Festival), Zhongyuan Festival (Diguan Festival, Yulanben Festival) and Xiayuan Festival (Shuiguan Festival) are collectively called Sanyuan. The formation of Lantern Festival custom has a long process. According to general data and folklore, the fifteenth day of the first month has been paid attention to in the Western Han Dynasty. The activities of Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty to sacrifice "Taiyi" in Ganquan Palace on the night of the first month are regarded by later generations as the first sound of offering sacrifices to the gods on the fifteenth day of the first month. However, the Lantern Festival on the fifteenth day of the first month was really a folk festival after the Han and Wei Dynasties.
Since ancient times, the Lantern Festival custom has been dominated by the warm and festive custom of watching lanterns. Traditional customs include going out to enjoy the moon, burning lanterns and setting off flames, enjoying solve riddles on the lanterns, eating Yuanxiao together and pulling rabbit lanterns. In addition, in many places, traditional folk performances such as playing with dragon lanterns, playing with lions, walking on stilts, rowing dry boats, dancing yangko and playing Taiping drums have been added to the Lantern Festival.
In June 2008, the Lantern Festival was selected as the second batch of national intangible cultural heritage.
Origin of festivals
The fifteenth day of the first lunar month is the Lantern Festival, also known as Shangyuan Festival, Lantern Festival and Lantern Festival. The first month is the first month of the lunar calendar. The ancients called the night "Xiao", so they called the fifteenth day of the first month the Lantern Festival. The 15th day of the first month is the night of the first full moon in a year, and it is also the beginning of the Yuan Dynasty. On the night in spring returns, people celebrate this and celebrate the continuation of the Spring Festival. Sima Qian founded taichu calendar, which listed the Lantern Festival as a major festival. Since the Sui, Tang and Song Dynasties, it has been in full swing. "Sui Shu Musical Records" Day: "Every time in the first month, all nations come to Korea and stay in Jianguomen, outside Duanmen, until the 15th, which stretches for eight miles." Tens of thousands of people participated in singing and dancing, from faint to dull. With the changes of society and times, the customs of Lantern Festival have changed greatly, but it is still a traditional folk festival in China.
Lantern Festival is a traditional festival in China, and the formation of Lantern Festival custom takes a long time. According to general data and folklore, the 15th day of the first month has been paid attention to in the Western Han Dynasty. The activity of Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty offering sacrifices to the "Taiyi" in Ganquan Palace on the night of the first month is regarded by later generations as the forerunner of offering sacrifices to the gods on the 15th day of the first month. The introduction of Buddhist culture in the Eastern Han Dynasty is of great significance to the formation of the Lantern Festival custom.
Yuanxiao originally meant "the night of Shangyuan Festival", because the main activity of Shangyuan Festival on the fifteenth day of the first month was to eat glutinous rice balls and enjoy the moon at night, and later the name of the festival evolved into "Lantern Festival". On the night of Lantern Festival, the streets are decorated with lanterns, and people enjoy lanterns, solve riddles on the lanterns and eat Lantern Festival, which will push the celebration activities that began on New Year’s Eve to another climax and become a custom that lasts for generations. Yuanxiao was only called the 15th day of the first month, the first half of the first month or the full moon when the early festivals were formed, and it was called Yuanxi or Yuanye after Sui. Influenced by Taoism in the early Tang Dynasty, it was also called Shangyuan, and it was only in the late Tang Dynasty that it was occasionally called Yuanxiao. But it has also been called Dengxi since the Song Dynasty. In the Qing Dynasty, it was also called Lantern Festival. In foreign countries, Yuanxiao is also known as The Lantern Festiva.
Other legends
In memory of "Pinglu"
Legend has it that the Lantern Festival was set up in memory of Pinglu when Emperor Wen of Han Dynasty. After the death of Emperor Gaozu Liu Bang, Lv Hou’s son Liu Ying became Emperor Hui of Han Dynasty. Huidi was born weak and indecisive, and the power gradually fell into the hands of Lv Hou. After Emperor Huidi died, Lv Hou monopolized the state affairs and turned Liu’s world into Lu’s world. The old courtiers and Liu’s imperial clan were deeply indignant, but they were all afraid of Lv Hou’s cruelty and dared to speak out.
After Lv Hou’s death, Zhu Lv was in a state of anxiety, afraid of being hurt and excluded. So, they secretly assembled in the home of Lv Lu, the general in the world, and conspired to make an insurrection, so as to completely seize Liu Jiangshan. The matter reached the ears of Liu Xiang, the king of the imperial clan of Liu. In order to protect Liu Jiangshan, Liu Xiang decided to attack Zhu Lv and then got in touch with zhou bo and Chen Ping, the founding elders, and designed to lift Lv Lu. The "Zhu Lv Rebellion" was finally completely put down.
After the rebellion, all the ministers made Liu Heng, the second son of Liu Bang, ascend to the throne, calling him Emperor Wen. Deeply impressed by the hard-won peace and prosperity, Emperor Wen designated the 15th day of the first month to quell the "Zhulu Rebellion" as a fun day with the people, and every family in Beijing decorated with lanterns to celebrate. Since then, the fifteenth day of the first month has become a popular folk festival-"Lantern Festival".
During the reign of Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty, the sacrificial activities of "Taiyi God" were scheduled for the 15th day of the first month. Taiyi: the God who rules everything in the universe. When Sima Qian founded the "taichu calendar", he had identified the Lantern Festival as a major festival.
Torch Festival
Lantern Festival is a traditional festival in China since ancient times. Lantern Festival viewing began with ancient people holding torches in rural fields to drive away insects and beasts, hoping to reduce pests and pray for a good harvest. To this day, people in some areas in southwest China still make torches out of reeds or branches on the fifteenth day of the first month, and hold them high in groups and dance in fields or grain drying fields. Since the Sui, Tang and Song Dynasties, it has been in full swing. Tens of thousands of people took part in singing and dancing, from faint to dull. With the changes of society and times, the customs of Lantern Festival have changed greatly, but it is still a traditional folk festival in China.
"three-yuan theory"
The custom of burning lanterns in Lantern Festival originated from the Taoist "Sanyuan Theory". Shangyuan means the first full moon night in the new year. The origin of Shangyuan Festival is recorded in Miscellanies at the Age of Years, which is a Taoist stereotype. Taoism once called the fifteenth day of the first month of the year Shangyuan Festival, the fifteenth day of July as Zhongyuan Festival, and the fifteenth day of October as Xiayuan Festival, which were collectively called "Sanyuan". The gods worshipped by Wudou Midao, an important faction of Taoism at the end of Han Dynasty, were Tianguan, Diguan and Shuiguan. They said that heavenly god blesses the people, the Diguan pardoned sins and Shuiguan relieved Eritrea, and they matched three officials with three yuan, saying that Shangyuan Tianguan was born on the 15th of the first month, Zhongyuan Diguan was born on the 15th of July and Xiayuan Shuiguan was born on the 15th of October. In this way, the fifteenth day of the first month is called Shangyuan Festival. In the Southern Song Dynasty, Wu Zimu said in Dream Liang Lu: "On the fifteenth day of the first month, it is the day of heavenly god blesses the people in Shangyuan." Therefore, the lantern festival should be lit.
Ming Di respects Buddha.
Originated from Buddhism. This statement is mainly in "300 Topics of Social Customs" edited by Mr. Hu Shensheng: "In Buddhist teachings, the fire is compared to the mighty god of Buddha, and the Infinite Life Sutra has the statement that’ infinite flame shines on infinity’. In Buddhist teachings, the lamp has always been one of the offerings before the Buddha. Moreover, Buddhist classics have repeatedly publicized: "Repentance of a Thousand Lights", "Buddhist Scriptures", "The Best Light for the World" and "Infinite Life Sutra". Bright lights are needed in every Buddhist event. In Buddhist legends, the story of the Buddha’s transformation is related to the fifteenth lantern in the first month. According to "A Brief History of Monks", the Buddha Sakyamuni showed the change of gods and surrendered to demons on December 30 in the west, that is, on the 15th day of the first month of the first month in Dongtu. In order to commemorate the change of gods of Buddha, a lantern-burning ceremony was held on this day. When Emperor Hanming came to the East to preach, Morten Zhufalan ordered Emperor Hanming to light lanterns on the 15th day of the first month when the Buddha changed, and personally went to the temple to display lanterns to show his respect to the Buddha. Since then, Lantern Festival lanterns have become a common practice. " However, some scholars believe that this view is untenable and that Buddhism only uses people’s festive atmosphere to expand its influence on this day.
Festival and custom
The festivals and customs activities of the Lantern Festival are extended and expanded with the development of history. As far as the length of the festival is concerned, it was only one day in the Han Dynasty, three days in the Tang Dynasty, and five days in the Song Dynasty. In the Ming Dynasty, the lights were lit from the eighth day of the eighth day until the night of the seventeenth day of the first month. It is the longest lantern festival in China history, which is connected with the Spring Festival, and the day is the city. It is very lively and spectacular. Especially the exquisite and colorful lights make it the climax of entertainment activities during the Spring Festival. By the Qing Dynasty, there were more "hundred plays" such as dragon dancing, lion dancing, roller boating, walking on stilts and dancing yangko, but the festival period was shortened to four to five days.
In the Tang Dynasty, when the national strength was unprecedentedly strong, Lantern Festival was very prosperous. Whether in the capital or in towns and villages, lanterns were hung everywhere, and people also made huge lantern wheels, lamp trees, lamp posts, etc. The city was full of fire trees and silver flowers, which were very lively.
In the Song Dynasty, in addition to the carnival of "women traveling in the streets and lanes, women and men are confused", there are also officials who distribute profits, and the king and the people enjoy the Lantern Festival together; Even with horror, prison institutions will use lighting and images to interpret the stories of prisoners or display prison equipment. The Lantern Festival developed into the most lively secular carnival in the Song Dynasty, and the Lantern Festival was more colorful. The Lantern Festival lasted for five days, and the styles of lanterns were complicated and varied. It was a very pleasing thing to visit the lantern market. Xin Qiji, a poet, wrote: "Thousands of trees bloom in the easterly night, and the stars are like rain", which means that there are countless lanterns and fireworks like rain in the Lantern Festival in the Song Dynasty. At that time, solve riddles on the lanterns also emerged, that is, all kinds of riddles were written on paper and pasted on lanterns, and the person who guessed correctly could get a small reward. This kind of entertainment and educational activity is loved by people and widely circulated.
By the Yuan Dynasty, most holidays were cancelled, and the rulers of the Yuan Dynasty believed that life was in exercise and work was rest, and the annual holidays were only 16 days.
The Lantern Festival in the Ming Dynasty lasted longer, from the eighth day of the first month to the seventeenth for ten days, to show the crowing.
In the Qing Dynasty, Manchu entered the Central Plains, and the court no longer held lantern festivals, but the folk lantern festivals were still spectacular. The Lantern Festival in the Qing Dynasty lasted only three days, but the lights were bright, more exquisite and fantastic, and it was still very attractive.
Lantern accommodation
People should set up a "Heaven and Earth Hall" when offering sacrifices to God on New Year’s Eve. People put up a small shed in the yard, and a small table in the shed stands the god’s throne of "Heaven, Earth, Three Realms, Ten Thousand Spirits"; There are incense burners and offerings in front of the shrine, and a lantern is hung, which represents Jiang Taigong’s seat. It is said that when Jiang Taigong was a deity, everyone else was sealed, but he forgot to seal himself, so he had no seat and had to sit with God.
Lanterns are related to gods, so they are also endowed with many symbolic meanings.

The reason for "setting off sky lanterns" is that people used to set off sky lanterns as a signal of mutual peace after fleeing from bandits. Since the day of refuge and returning home is the Lantern Festival, since then, people have celebrated it with the ceremony of putting on the sky lanterns every year, so they are also called "blessing lanterns" or "safety lanterns". Later, it gradually evolved into a folk activity of praying and wishing for heaven. The sky lanterns are filled with all kinds of wishes in my heart, hoping that the sky lanterns can reach heaven and bring infinite hope and light to people.
Legend has it that Emperor Taizong of Li Shimin encouraged reading, and all the people sent their children to school. The first program of admission is called "Turn on the light", which is to bring lanterns made in advance to school and ask a learned old gentleman to light them to symbolize a bright future. In the past, most private schools started school later on the fifteenth day of the first month, so the lanterns that started school became an ornament of the "Shangyuan Festival".
There are many kinds of Lantern Festival lanterns, or image lanterns modeled after the image of things, such as dragon lanterns, tiger lanterns, rabbit lanterns, etc., or movable lanterns based on folk stories, such as Cowherd and Weaver Girl, Twenty-four Filial Piety, etc., which show the national spirit of loyalty, filial piety and righteousness. All kinds of lanterns are skillfully made, showing the wisdom and skills of craftsmen.
With the development of the times, the Lantern Festival has become more and more grand, with more and more national characteristics and longer time. The Lantern Festival in the Tang Dynasty was one day and three days before and after Shangyuan. In the Song Dynasty, two days were added after the sixteenth, which was five days. In the Ming dynasty, it was extended to ten days from the eighth day to the eighteenth. Because of the different lighting periods, the first day of lighting is called "trial lighting", the fifteenth day is called "positive lighting", and the last day is called "residual lighting" and "stop lighting". It is also called "magic lamp", "human lamp" and "ghost lamp". On the 14th night, it is a "magic lamp", which is placed in front of the shrine and ancestral hall at home to worship the ancestors of the Ming Dynasty. It is called "human lamp" at night on the fifteenth day, and it is placed on doors and windows, bedspreads, several cases, etc. to avoid scorpions and insects; On the 16th night, it is a "ghost lamp", which is placed in the tomb of Qiu and Yuan Ye, so that you can get rid of the ghost domain for wandering souls.
